Tanner Herefords is a family owned and operated ranch with two locations in Naylor, Georgia and DeKalb, Texas. Our family along with our Hereford cattle have recently moved to Georgia. We are located in South Georgia about 25 miles to the Florida state line. We look forward to serving the Southeast with great quality registered Hereford bulls. Our family is originally from Florida, so we are back close to "home". With our knowledge of the land and climate, we look forward to raising bulls that can hold up on a commercial operation in the Southeast. Our family has been full time ranchers for the past six generations raising commercial cattle. Danny and his son Winston started raising registered Hereford cattle to raise a true cattleman's bull- that would not only benefit their own commercial herd, but other ranchers as well. The goal has been to raise bulls that  hold up on a working cattle ranch, add calving ease, pounds, and daughters that make excellent replacements. We do not own a creep feeder, so our calves are raised by their mothers. We have added genetics from top herds in the nation including Montana, North Dakota, Kansas, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, OK, Illinois, Idaho, & Alabama. We go through a culling process, and are very selective about the females, donor cows, AI sires, & herd sires we add to our program. We are always looking to learn more and better our herd. In 2022, Winston and his wife Raley, obtained their certification in bovine embryo transfer.  We have purchased donor cows from the major Hereford breeders in the nation, and are adding those genetics to our herd through our ET program. We offer fall and spring bulls for sale.
